Cavan Arts Festival are delighted to be teaming up with Cavan Concrete Surfing again this year.
Try skateboarding! Come and have a go at our welcoming & supportive have-a-try lessons.
For the lessons, people are welcome to stop by on the day, but we recommend getting in touch with @cavanconcretesurfing on instagram to express interest and to ensure you get a spot or so we can answer any potential questions you may have.
Newcomers will be shown the absolute basics of how to stand on a board and get it moving back and forth on the ramps etc. Beginners looking for tips on how to progress further are welcome to book in for help with more advanced tricks too.
Boards & helmets will be provided, helmets must be worn for beginners lessons.
Already into it? Then join in our all day Skate Jam with open best trick competitions, fastest trick, highest & longest jumps and lot's more too. We'll keep the pace up and the fun flowing with spot prizes too.
