Virginia Gospel Choir
Virginia Gospel Choir are a community choir based in Virginia, Co. Cavan. Founded in 2005, they have brought their uplifting voices and joyous melodies to the congregation of St Mary's Church Virginia on the second Sunday of every month as well as at the annual Darkness Into Light event, nursing homes & weddings.

Birdsong
Ornithologist Seán Ronayne from Cobh, Co. Cork is on a mission to record the sound of every bird species in Ireland – that’s nearly 200 birds.
Birdsong is a 52-minute documentary film directed by Kathleen Harris and produced by Ross Whitaker and Aideen O’Sullivan for True Films. Join us for a screening of Birdsong, followed by a Q&A with the film's subject Seán Ronayne and director Kathleen Harris.

Love Me Do by James O'Donnell
Join Kate & Mick as they take you on a journey of romance, drama, comedy & heartbreak on the streets of Cavan. Love Me Do, written & directed by James O’Donnell, starring Niamh McPhillips & Callum Maxwell is a play in three parts, each lasting 15 minutes. You will be notified where to meet next at the end of each part. Every half hour, you will see another chapter of their story unfold, until the final curtain falls.

The Picture Palace: Part 2
Step into the ethereal realm of The Picture Palace: Part 2, a new dance film created by Jessie Keenan, Townhall Cavan’s Dance Artist in Residence. This new work delves into the complex relationship between bodies, buildings & memories with Cavan’s Townhall as the backdrop. Within the historic walls of the Townhall, echoes of the past come alive as three captivating characters explore hidden memories & forgotten moments. Drawing on archival materials, research & personal histories, this film installation makes tangible the intangible & captures the unseen essence of a building. Take a seat, allow the intricate soundscape to immerse you, & lose yourself in another world, if only for a moment.
