Carnival School Community Parade
Lifelong Learning Carnival School is a vibrant community arts project bringing artists and communities together inspired by the colour, rhythm and creativity of carnival.

Participants from across Cavan and the border region have been working with professional artists in samba, movement, circus, music and making, developing new skills and creating together towards a collaborative performance.
This May, their work comes to life as the Carnival School Community Parade fills the festival with music, movement and colour in a spectacular community parade at Cavan Arts Festival 2026. Celebrating creativity, culture and connection, the parade showcases the energy and imagination of local communities coming together through carnival arts.
