About the film

One night, Ben’s mother flees their lighthouse home and is never seen again, leaving behind baby Saoirse to be raised by their father. As the years pass, Saoirse remains unable to speak but becomes enchanted by her mother’s seashell and drawn to the seals that gather outside their home. When their grandmother takes them to the city, Ben and Saoirse find themselves pulled into a world of ancient magic where mystical creatures guide them toward understanding their mother’s fate and Saoirse’s true destiny.
