We are committed to making Cavan Arts Festival a welcoming and accessible experience for everyone. Below you’ll find key access details for all of our venues and events.
Irish Sign Language (ISL) Interpretation
We are delighted to offer ISL interpretation for the following events:
The Blindboy Podcast, Sunday 18th May at 8pm in Townhall Arts Centre, Cavan.
Fat Bitch by Alison Spittle, with support from Fiona Frawley Saturday 17th May at 8pm in Townhall Arts Centre, Cavan.
A Personal Journey Into the Magic of Rewilding by Eoghan Daltun Sunday 18th May at 12pm in Con Smith Park, Cavan.
Venue Accessibility
Townhall Arts Centre: Wheelchair accessible venue and wheelchair accessible toilets available.
Con Smith Park: Outdoor venue with wheelchair accessible toilets.
Cavan Institute: Wheelchair accessible exhibitions and facilities, including accessible toilets.

Sensory Supports
A Sensory Room in collaboration with Cavan Autism Centre will be available at Cavan Institute. A quiet, low-stimulation space ideal for anyone needing a break from the festival buzz. The Sensory Room will be open on:
Saturday 17th May from 12pm-2pm
Sunday 18th May from 1pm-3pm

Creative Collective Student Showcase at Cavan Institute from 15th – 18th May.
