Three Deaf couples, three remarkable love stories, an immersive cinematic experience. John & Agnes are a mixed religion Deaf couple, whose love story blossomed against a backdrop of the Troubles, they share what it was like for them, living through this violent period in our history.

Michelle & Kathy open up about life as a same sex couple, their IVF journey, and their experiences as parents to both hearing and Deaf daughters. Finally, Deaf boxer Seán and his hearing partner Deyanna reflect on an impossible decision Seán is faced with - keep his cochlear implant and ability to hear his partner & son, or have it surgically removed to pursue his dream of becoming a professional boxer.
This award-winning documentary is a cinematic celebration of enduring love, offering a deeply moving and uplifting insight into an often hidden community. This film will be followed by a Q+A featuring producers Anne Heffernan & Sean Herlihy, which will include ISL interpretation by Cormac Leonard

Enter through the main entrance of Cavan Institute, then turn right and walk down the hallway past the canteen. Continue to the end of the corridor where you will see an exit ahead. Just before the exit, turn left down the next hallway. The Cinema Room will be the first door on your right.
